The Randstad Tuition Team is seeking dedicated Academic Tutors to provide vital 1:1 educational support to looked-after children and young people in crisis care. This isn’t just about passing exams-it’s about building confidence, bridging learning gaps in core subjects (English, Maths, and Science), and giving vulnerable youth the tools to succeed.

Your Impact:

Tailored Learning: Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition across KS1-KS4.

Adaptive Teaching: Assess progress and pivot lessons to meet both academic and emotional needs.

Teamwork: Collaborate with foster carers, residential workers, and local authorities to support the child holistically.

What You’ll Need:

QTS, QTLS, or a degree-level qualification in a core subject.

Experience teaching or tutoring, especially children with gaps in their education.

A patient, empathetic, and resilient mindset.

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness ).
