Account Manager – Medical Devices Sales

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager to join our client’s sales team. The Account Manager will play a critical role in driving sales and developing strong relationships with healthcare facilities, distributors, and key stakeholders within the medical community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to represent our innovative line of medical devices and contribute to the improvement of patient care.

Responsibilities:

* Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive market penetration for medical devices within the assigned territory.
* Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers, to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
* New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and acquiring new accounts, strategically targeting untapped markets and potential clients.
* Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our medical devices’ features, benefits, and applications, and effectively communicate these to customers to address their specific needs and challenges.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective sales strategies.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support, to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Training and Education: Provide product training and educational resources to customers and sales partners, empowering them to effectively promote and sell our medical devices.
* Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software, and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven track record of success in medical device sales, with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience.
* Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and regulations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strategic mindset and a passion for exceeding sales targets.
* Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
