Our client, a dynamic mid-size pharmaceutical company located in Antwerp region, offers a unique opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join their team. With a close-knit team, you will benefit from efficient communication and strong connections with colleagues. Besides that, you will be able to work on a wide variety of accounting and controlling activities which will make it less of a routine and enable you to develop a broader skill set.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize financial performance and efficiency

* You will be in charge of performing the day-to-day bookkeeping for the group

* Completion of tax and statutory returns (VAT, INTRASTAT) on a monthly/yearly basis

* Payroll processing, Monitoring of unpaid debts with customer service, etc.

Requirements:

* Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economy

* Several years of experience in accounting with a strong knowledge of accounting standards

* ACCA/CPA professional certification is an asset
* Good command of accounting and consolidation tools

* Fluency in English (both written and spoken), with a good level of German and/or French as a strong asset
