Accounts Payable Administrator
Kings Hill, Kent
Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
Temp to Perm – Immediate start required
GBP26,000 – GBP28,000pa
KHR is pleased to partner with one of the fastest-growing businesses in the Southeast, who at present have a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the business on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis with permanent potential for the right person.
As the Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the business pays its creditors and vendors on time. This role is crucial to ensuring the business maintains good relationships with its creditors.
Roles and Responsibilities
x25CF; Communicating with relevant suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries
x25CF; Attaching the correct documentation to invoices and reconciling purchase orders to invoices received
x25CF; Posting invoices and credit notes, and ensuring they’re coded correctly in the system
x25CF; Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
x25CF; Dealing with external and internal queries by phone and email
x25CF; Preparing and processing supplier payments and ensuring that the Financial Controller has signed all payments off
x25CF; Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures
x25CF; Investigating and resolving outstanding creditor items
x25CF; Avoiding mistakes and effectively keeping track of accounts payable transactions, working meticulously and paying careful attention to detail
x25CF; Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
Candidate Profile
x25CF; Proven experience within a fast-paced finance team
x25CF; Knowledge of general accounting procedures
x25CF; Strong organisational skills, as you will handle a high volume of invoices
x25CF; Effective communication skills, including being able to actively listen and relay information clearly and concisely
x25CF; Proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
x25CF; Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
x25CF; Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or ERP systems is highly
desirable
