The role
Working from Belfast, you will deliver end-to-end acoustic consultancy – from site noise/vibration surveys to modelling and report production – while contributing to early-stage design advice and supporting junior staff on project delivery.
Key responsibilities
Environmental noise & vibration surveys and assessments
*
Acoustic modelling in CadnaA / SoundPLAN
*
Authoring technical reports & ES chapters
*
Acoustic input to planning and design teams
*
Client / LA / stakeholder liaison
*
Mentoring junior staff where appropriate
About you
Degree in Acoustics / Physics or related
*
2-4 yrs in environmental or building acoustics
*
Working knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, ProPG
*
Competent in CadnaA / SoundPLAN
*
Clear written communication; full UK licence
Day-to-day
Site visits & measurement campaigns
*
Model build, calibration and interpretation
*
Drafting and issuing reports and recommendations
*
Project meetings with clients / design teams
*
Keeping current with standards and best practice
