Student Administration and Academic Affairs is one of the largest Professional Services departments in the University, comprising a diverse range of teams who share the same passion for enhancing our students’ experiences and supporting their well-being.

We are looking to recruit an Administrative Officer for our busy Administration and Assessment Team at Winchester School of Art. The Administration and Assessment Team act as a first point of contact for educational matters and supports aspects of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught student lifecycle from induction through to graduation, including maintenance of student records and support for all assessment-related processes.

You will work closely with the Team Leader, Senior Admin Officer, and key academic staff, as well as colleagues across the Student Experience Directorate and the wider University, to ensure effective and professional support for all aspects of the team’s activities.

You will also have excellent IT skills, planning and organisational skills, initiative, ability to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise varied workloads. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is a commitment to providing excellent customer service, flexibility and being receptive to new ideas and approaches. You must be a competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The salary range indicates the incremental progression in the role. The starting salary for a full-time post will be £25,742 and will increment annually.
