We are seeking a dynamic (Mid to Senior) AI Product Owner to join our team, which is leading the charge to make SAP a truly data-driven company. 

In this role, you will be central to creating unparalleled efficiency and scaling intelligent decision-making by focusing on impactful AI solutions within the Corporate Functions & Analytics (CFA) domain, specifically in one of the following key areas: Finance, Spend, People Solutions and Analytics. 

The Role:
 

In this role, you will own the AI product lifecycle, from discover and prioritization to delivery and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to shape AI use cases that create measurable business impact. You’ll define and ensure that product roadmaps align with SAP’s AI strategy, balance user needs with technical feasibility and maintain transparency and agile execution throughout delivery. 

Responsibilities:

-Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement

-Define, prioritize and maintain the AI product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic themes

-Translate business needs into clear product requirements and measurable value metrics 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Collaborate with engineering, data and design teams to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Drive incremental value realization through iterative development and feedback loops 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Promote AI adoption and excellence by aligning on product vision, roadmap, and success criteria 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Engage and align stakeholders to ensure transparency, buy-in and outcome-driven delivery 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Apply agile and SAFe principles to coordinate cross-functional delivery teams and synchronize with dependent programs

What you bring: 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Degree in computer science or a similar field 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Proven experience in product ownership or product management in AI, data or similar digital products 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Solid understanding of AI solution lifecycles, from proof of concept to production 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Strong analytical and communication skills to translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Hands-on experience in designing, developing and operating production ready AI Solution 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends, and product development lifecycles 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management tools (e.g., Jira)

-Fluent English and a proactive, problem solving mindset

Nice to have but not a must:

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Knowledge of agentic AI and generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI) 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Familiarity with SAP ecosystem and enterprise AI governance tools and frameworks 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Certifications with cloud and data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks) 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Deep understanding of core business operations within at least one of the focus areas HR, Finance, or Analytics, with a strong awareness of how AI use cases can drive transformational change in these domains.  

These skills are a plus. If you don’t have experience in all these areas, we’ll provide the resources and training you need to become a leader in cutting-edge AI technologies.
