Air Liquide is looking for a Group Benefits manager to join the Group Total Rewards team with the accountability to drive, oversee, communicate, and implement benefits and pension programs throughout the organization. This key leadership position requires strategic thinking and will play a crucial role in enhancing our employee value proposition and fostering a positive and caring workplace culture.

Located in Paris 7ème, France, you will report to the Group Vice President Total Rewards.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Implementation of a Global Benefits Management strategy & governance aiming to attract & retain talents, decrease insurance costs & improve service efficiencies (benchmarking, captive financial strategy, benefits management software)
  • Animate and coordinate our benefits community across all geographies and markets (Centers of Excellence in Benefits located in Europe, Asia, Americas).
  • Lead and drive the set up of an Employee Benefits Captive and the integration of policies within the Captive.
  • Stay informed about industry and emerging benefits trends and conduct regular benchmarks in close partnership with regional C&B colleagues. 
  • Monitoring of regulatory changes and proactively anticipating changes to ensure compliance of our benefits plans worldwide. 
  • Regular review of Group Benefits governance, raising awareness of our Benefits guidelines throughout our HR Reward community and wider HR community.
  • Innovate on our benefits policies to further align with employee needs, supporting our Diversity & Inclusion agenda whilst improving Air Liquide value proposition.
  • Validate renewal process of our employee benefits insured policies (Heath, Life & Disability, personal accident) in the frame of our Employee Benefits Captive model.
  • Ensure benefits plans are recorded and reported accurately in our benefits database.
  • Management of benefits programmes for our international workforce (International Pension plan, International Medical and International Life & Disability plans).
  • Monitoring of all our pension plans globally in accordance with Group Benefits Governance.
  • Participate in the ongoing digital transformation (Workday). 

Are you a MATCH?

  • Proven experience of 10+ years in the HR field and at least 5 years in the benefits arena in a multinational organization.
  • University Degree level education or equivalent.
  • In depth knowledge of group employee benefits insurance products and pension.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision making.
  • Ability to navigate in a matrix environment. 
  • Team player.
  • Project management capability.
  • Good understanding of cross-cultural environment.
  • Demonstrate good conceptual thinking.
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus.
