Job Summary/Description

The resource planning team for Entergy Louisiana delivers a sustainable portfolio that is centered on customer outcomes while balancing reliability, affordability, and environmental stewardship.  The team sets the strategic vision for the evolving sustainability and resiliency programs for ELL as well as long term generation and transmission planning.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

-Support development of investor relations communications, advisory board strategy communications and other customer facing presentations. 
-Support corporate initiatives related to customer choice, competitive threats, M&A activity, renewable expansion options, and MOUs
-Support customer partnerships and MOU discussions for renewables and customer specific sustainability plans
-Support Power Through program, distributed generation, non-wires alternatives, Geaux Green and future expansions of products and services
-Engagement with Customer Service, CCO, KSL, Economic Development, Industrial Accounts, and KAMs on ELL programs
-Support resilience filing and outcomes
-Develop and support analyses required for ELL’s retail and wholesale generation planning efforts
-Develop and support analyses for ELL’s transmission planning efforts
-Manage the Entergy Louisiana Operating Committee
 

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position

-Analyst I: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience
-Analyst II: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience
-Analyst III: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience
-Analyst Sr: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience   

-Desired: MBA 
 

Minimum experience required of the position

-Analyst I: 0-2 years of professional experience
-Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience
-Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience
-Analyst Sr.: 6 plus years of professional experience
 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

-Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
-Advanced analytical skills and experience working on multiple assignments
-Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
-No supervisory responsibilities but has the ability to provide informal guidance to partners across the enterprise and explain complex information to others in a straightforward situation
-Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
-Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
