The ideal candidate would have 2+ years’ experience in a similar financial role in a large Multi-National or Pharmaceutical company. You will gain valuable experience working closely with all departments of the business and engaging regularly with Senior stakeholders of the business. In this role, you will be Responsible for all of the Financial affairs of the plant. Your Primary objective is to plan, control, administer, interpret and report on the financial performance both to management at Plant level, FFS, BPO and Corporate Finance.What you will do:
- Supports the finance function through data processing, accounts preparation and analysis.
- Ensure that financial procedures are adhered to.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and Balance Sheet reconciliations as requested.
- Work on preparation of annual Plan, Update, LBEs and LRP.
- Headcount management – tracking of site and contract headcount and allocation to correct budgets.
- Prepare monthly payroll LBEs, post payroll related journals.
- ACR Management, GR/IR and open POs management
- Overhead spend review, analysis and support to site
- Finance check of inventory cycle counts
- Manage Contractors and Motor Vehicle Insurance.
- Presentation of financial and non-financial training within initial induction process.
- Process journals, reconcile accounts, analyse variances and other information.
- All items processed will be reconciled to general ledger reports which are reviewed by the Plant Controller.
- Liaise with AFs and BPO as required.
QualificationsWhat you will need:
- A relevant 3rd level qualification (level 8+) in Finance or Accounting (Candidates working towards their Accounting exams will be considered)
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with a Multi-National or large business
- Ability to work under pressure and reach tight deadlines
- Excellent IT skills
- The ability to work under your own initiative and adapt when required
