Department: Commercial OperationsAbout the RoleAs Analytics and Operations Director, you will play a critical leadership role in driving operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and field service excellence across the Benelux region. This role combines strategic analytics with hands-on operational oversight, ensuring that commercial efforts translate into both top-line growth and strong bottom-line profitability.Key Responsibilities1. Business Intelligence & Commercial AnalyticsLead and develop the Customer Intelligence team to automate and standardize commercial processes and deliver insights into sales performance.Ensure visibility into the bottom-line impact of commercial activities and decisions.Manage and guide the Benelux Sales Planner (demand planning) and Benelux Business Analyst (pricing and performance reporting).Drive margin improvement and commercial effectiveness.2. Operational Excellence in Field ServicesOversee and improve the performance and efficiency of our Technical Customer Service operations.Optimize field coverage, service execution, and resource allocation.Ensure safety standards are upheld across all technical operations.Support the roll-out of large customer contracts through effective cross-functional collaboration.3. Demand PlanningSafeguard the S&OP process and ensure accurate demand forecasting to secure product availability and avoid missed opportunities.4. Cost Control & P&L ManagementControl costs across people and non-people budgets (T&E, third-party vendors).Influence Cost of Goods Sold via mix management and pricing strategies.Ensure sustainable, profitable growth by linking commercial success to bottom-line performance.5. Team Leadership & DevelopmentCoach and support team members in their development and day-to-day responsibilities.Provide on-the-job training and career guidance.Lead recruitment and onboarding for vacant positions in your team.6.
