It specializes in providing technical computing and model-based design solutions, supporting customers with expertise and dedicated services.Main responsibilities:As an Application Engineering Team Lead, you will lead a team of engineers who work closely with top R&D organizations to support their design and development efforts. Your team will build strong relationships with partners, understand their technical challenges, and demonstrate how our solutions can enhance their research and development processes. Working collaboratively with sales, marketing, and other engineering teams, you will help integrate our products into customer workflows, contributing to innovation and accelerating progress in engineering and science.

• Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, driving performance management, and balancing workloads.
• Background in customer-facing roles, understanding client needs, building relationships, and acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or similar model-based design and technical computing tools, including delivering proofs-of-concept and demos.
• Skilled in working with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to align technical activities with business objectives and market needs.
• Ability to establish and improve technical and business processes, monitor team performance, and handle administrative tasks.
• Strong drive for professional growth, staying updated on product developments, industry trends, and expanding knowledge across application areas.

Required skills:

• A bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of professional experience, a master’s degree with 5 years of experience, or a PhD with 2 years of experience (or equivalent) is required.
• Practical experience working with MATLAB, Simulink, or COMSOL is essential.
• Strong English skills, both written and spoken, are necessary.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
• Collaborative mindset and a team-oriented attitude.
