As apprentice within the “Governance, Risk & Compliance” cybersecurity unit, you will embark on a journey to revolutionize the PCI DSS Knowledge Center for cutting-edge evolution, to help us protect all Amadeus and customers assets.

As part of the PCI DSS Program Management Team, you will participate in the following activities on the PCI DSS Knowledge Center

  • Content review and structure analysis (“as-is” diagram/index): review the existing content, understand it, and document the high-level structure. Select the medium (Confluence, SharePoint, OneNote, Word, Excel, PPT etc.) for the documentation
  • Content due diligence for re-design (“to-be” diagram/index): together with the tutors, engage in a due diligence and present the results from content review. Perform a gap analysis (e.g., requirements and stakeholder analysis), drive the collection of missing / obsolete content. Develop a new high-level structure, present and obtain agreement of the new defined content
  • Prototype & implementation plan: investigate and handle feasibility study on how the new content structure can be realized, what are possible techniques to realize the new way to present the content. Propose an implementation plan (delivery Roadmap & communication plan) and document accordingly
  • Evolution implementation: realize the prototype for the implementation a new PCI DSS Knowledge Center. Document the description of used approaches to ease future content adaption
  • PCI DSS processes & documentation: document processes (e.g., AoC distribution process/RACI, crisis management procedure, RFP management processes, etc.). Contents must be brief/clear/relevant for the targeted audiences
  • Self-development & Other Knowledge Management (KM) / Content Management (CM) / PMO & Weekly Status Report: Study the Knowledge Management strategy and best practices. Propose feasible KM/CM strategy according to Amadeus practical environment. Learn and develop KM/CM/PMO practical skills (e.g., Program SharePoint maintenance, AoC library maintenance, orientation session confluence page & coordination, project meetings participation) and Weekly Status Report.
  • School work: complete school work (e.g., Thesis/Dissertation) according to school supervisor’s guidance.

Note: this working field has a focus on documentation and content building, and less (or even none) focus on source code implementation

PCI DSS Program Apprentice/Trainee Requirements

  • Business school study on Knowledge Management & Project Management related subjects
  • CAPM certificate (or on-going certification preparation study) is a plus
  • Good time management, critical/strategic and analytical thinking, with good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously after objectives and targets have been agreed
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to analyze complex information and to present it in a structured & clear & concise manner
  • Visual presentation skills is a plus
  • Ability to generate new ideas and approaches to improve processes and solve problems
  • A growth mindset and passion for learning
  • Strong English language skills (fluent in written and spoken)
