Architectural Technologist

Location: Bedford

Salary: GBP30-40,000

An exciting opportunity is available for an Architectural Technologist to join a respected, award-winning multidisciplinary practice based in Bedford. Renowned for delivering imaginative, design-driven projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, the practice continues to grow and is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support a diverse portfolio of high-quality developments.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the production of accurate technical drawings and coordinated project information
* Prepare and submit planning applications and building regulations documentation
* Work closely with consultants, contractors, and the wider project team
* Conduct site visits and provide technical support throughout construction stages
* Ensure all work aligns with current UK Building Regulations and industry best practice

Skills & Experience

* HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology (or a related discipline)
* Strong AutoCAD skills; Revit proficiency highly advantageous
* Experience with residential or commercial projects (academic or professional)
* Fundamental understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
* Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
