Area Sales Manager – Munster & West of IrelandAre you passionate about all things beauty? Lets make it your career!Optimize are currently working with a leading wholesaler and distributor for the beauty, hair and cosmetics industry in Ireland. This is a brand new, exciting role for a candidate who loves all things beauty and looking to expand their career. This is an on the road position working closely with the team.Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell products, and new brand launches by clearly explaining features and benefits to potential customers.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on current or potential sales outlets.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining and strengthening relationships with clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential customers to grow the customer base.
- Attend trade shows, events, and product launches to represent the company and promote our product lines.
- Achieve sales targets and report on sales activities, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly or annual territory analyses.
- Stay updated on product developments, industry trends, and competitive activity.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve collective goals, providing insights on market conditions and customer feedback.
- Monitor the competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, product offerings, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommend improvements to products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Address customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the beauty or related industries.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and close deals.
- Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to optimise sales strategies.
- Self-motivated, organised, and goal-driven, with excellent time management.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Full, clean driver’s licence with the willingness to travel as required.
- It is essential to have prior experience in field sales for this position
