Roles & Responsibilities
As the Art and Textiles Teacher, your duties will include:
Curriculum Delivery: Planning and delivering engaging and innovative lessons in Art and Textiles to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially A-Level.

Student Development: Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and develop their skills.

Performance & Enrichment: Organizing and contributing to school exhibitions, showcases, and extracurricular art clubs.

Assessment: Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
*
Collaboration: Working effectively with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Classroom Management: Maintaining a well-managed and safe classroom, ensuring a productive and creative space for all students.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Proven experience teaching both Art and Textiles at the secondary school level.

Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for these subjects.

Excellent communication skills and classroom management abilities.

A genuine passion for art education and a commitment to student success.
