If so, let’s start the conversation.Iron Mountain are seeking an experience asset management technician to join our team in DublinWork as part of a team to deliver a wide variety of IT data eradication and asset management services from the Iron Mountain ITRenew ITAD Ireland portfolio.Activities will include data erasure, decommissioning, asset management, secure shredding, site surveys and general warehouse activities, from time to time perform these duties while on client site projects.Warehouse Asset Management Technicians are required to deliver IT services within an agreed time frame in accordance to work activities identified in pre-written method statements.Technicians will be required to be fluent in both internal and external software applications such as excel to be able to support on site activities and reporting requirements when out in the field.Technicians are expected to be flexible and at times, work outside standard working hours when demanded by the scope of a request or project and travel within Europe to client sites, this will include overnight stays as required rather than returning to site.When not on site all Warehouse Asset Management Technicians will be expected to fulfil the roll of a warehouse data erasure technician and report to warehouse supervisor for daily erasure, asset management, this includes the processing and monitoring of project stock as well as providing support and training for standard refurbishment technicians and providing specialist knowledge to support and develop departmental activities.Main Duties of the Job :The delivering of Services including:Data Erasure – Using Proprietary Data Erasure SoftwareShipping and Receiving dutiesGeneral warehouse dutiesDecommissioningAsset ManagementSecure shreddingSite surveysProject ReportingWhen on Client site, To liaise on a daily basis with:Operations SupervisorTechnical Operation ManagerData Erasure EngineersAll Customer Representatives and staff whilst OnsiteTo achieve effective control and performance of:Shredding and compliance to sanitisation outcomeData erasure activitiesAdhering to health and safety security protocolsDynamic risk assessmentsDelivering site activities within an agreed project time frameAdhering to service level agreementsStock ControlHousekeepingQuality AssessmentRepairs and UpgradesTroubleshootingLogisticsDesign and implementation of departmental software/hardware toolsProject managementService deliveryBIOS password/asset removal methodsDesign and implementation of working proceduresData Security in accordance to current industry standardsPERSONAL SPECIFICATIONExperience in any of the following specific areas: Network installation and troubleshooting, Mass storage installation and maintenance, Data Destruction and repair of Hard Drives, and server component knowledge.Experience working with server/network hardware.Knowledge on Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to deal in a calm and focused way with conflicting demands and manage multiple priorities within competing deadlines to ensure positive outcomes.Ability to work independently on assigned projects and tasks.Articulate, tactful and sensitive in written and oral communication.Ability to regularly lift/move 30-40 lbs daily.Knowledge of the requirements of Health and Safety legislation.Be a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to work without supervision.Demonstrates commitment to remaining customer focused and performance oriented, in order to deliver the service to the highest standards.Maintains high standards of ethics, professional conduct, probity and honesty, including commitment to the achievement of equal opportunities.
