ASSISTANT GENERAL COUNSEL – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

JOIN A DYNAMIC AND COLLABORATIVE GLOBAL IP TEAM!

-Operate in an innovative, fast-paced and collaborative organization.
-Partner with R&D scientists and business leaders to advance our winning strategy by creating and protecting sustainable materials and solutions.
-Maximize intellectual property assets by:  drafting high quality patent applications; executing sophisticated patent prosecution strategies; giving tactical guidance on the development, acquisition, utilization, and enforcement of global patent portfolios; and protecting new products, processes, and trade secrets.
-Help guide regular portfolio reviews and evaluation.
-Offer regular IP trainings and presentations.
-Negotiate intellectual property agreements with joint development partners, major research centers, customers, and suppliers.
-Deliver strategic IP advice for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financings, restructurings and grant applications.
-Maintain close global coordination.
-Grow our portfolio and expand your experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

-B.S. in chemical discipline
-Juris Doctorate
-Admitted to practice law in PA, and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
-Minimum 10 years of experience in intellectual property law (patents, trademarks and trade secrets)
-Both law firm and in-house experience preferred
