We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mental Health professional to lead and manage our award winning Mental Health team. The successful candidate will be an experienced lead practitioner with proven managerial experience gained within disciplines such as mental health services, clinical psychology, or social work. 

The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications and full professional membership/ accreditation in mental health care e.g. RGN/HCPC, be supplemented by substantial post-qualification practice in the field of mental health crisis and support. 

Working with the Head of Student Wellbeing Services you will play a key role in the development of the strategic direction of the service.  You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of  high quality professional clinical services, which will effectively support our student’s mental health and wellbeing

In addition, you will enjoy the challenge of creating innovative ways to deliver a proactive and responsive service which meets the changing needs of our students.  You will demonstrate effective interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload. You will also have demonstrable experience in building key relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders and external specialist services. 

The post-holder will be required to attend Open Day and Student Recruitment events outside of normal office hours, as part of a team rota.
