  • Fulfillment of the requirements specified in art. 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571 consolidated text)
  • The condition for entering the competition is to have a doctoral degree in social sciences or humanities in the field of psychology
  • Documented teaching experience in independent teaching for a period of no less than 5 years, in particular from such areas as psychology: forensic, resocialization, clinical, personality, addiction)
  • Scientific activity in the area of the above-mentioned areas of psychology confirmed by participation in scientific or research programs.
  • Experience in conducting scientific research in the area of the above-mentioned areas of psychology confirmed by scientific articles and/or awards for scientific work.
  • References from at least two independent scientists (min. Ph.D.)
  • High didactic skills, confirmed in particular by the results of student surveys or awards and awards for didactic activity
  • Knowledge of Polish and English
  • Availability, readiness to perform duties and organizational functions related to the research, scientific and organizational activities conducted at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Resocialisation (at the Institute of Social Prevention and Resocialisation), as well as taking actions to activate students and increase their scientific and research potential
  • Involvement and participation in projects for the popularization of science
  • Experience in the area of practical application of psychology (conducting psychological counseling and/or psychotherapy)
  • Experience in international cooperation in the field of conducted research or organizational activities

If hired, we expect the University of Warsaw to be the primary workplace for the successful candidate.

  • Quantitative criteria: formal assessment of the requirements specified in the competition announcement
  • Qualitative criteria: candidate’s research and teaching competences, research creativity and independence, potential for further research and teaching development
  • Readiness for research and scientific development in an international environment

– Stage I – formal evaluation of documents,

– Stage IV – final evaluation of competence, experience and scientific achievements,
– Stage V – adjudication of the competition and announcement of results.
