  • Postgraduate studies and/or courses and trainings in digital humatities and/or scientific editing, qualifications related to computer editing of publications.
  • in teaching Polish as a foreign language.
  • Proven academic, teaching and organisational achievements.
  • A certificate of knowledge of the English language or the candidate’s own confirmation of knowledge of the English language

Eligibility criteria

  • Number and quality of scientific publications.
  • Conference experience.
  • Qualifications obtained (postgraduate studies, courses, trainings) in digital humanities and/or scientific editing, as well as others.
  • Experience in obtaining and implementing grant applications.
  • Completed research internships.
  • Scientific awards.
  • Skills and competences in the field of computer editing of publications.
  • Teaching experience (experience when it comes to conducting classes and developing study programmes and specialisations, readiness to teach both full-time and part-time students, readiness to apply new methods and tools in working with students).
  • Organisational skills (willingness to work for the Institute of Polish Studies and the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology, ability to work in a team, readiness to organise or co-organise national and international academic conferences and other academic and cultural events, willingness to cooperate with academic institutions and social centres).
  • Popularisation activities (popular science publications, organisation and conducting popularisation meetings, other forms of activities).
  • Teaching and organisational awards (including other awards received).
  • Experience related to the internationalisation of science (publications in foreign languages, contacts with foreign scientific institutions, joint projects and grants).
  • Additional activities (e.g. volunteering).
  • Knowledge of English (B2 level certificate, readiness to conduct classes in English).

Selection process

  • The commencement of the work of the selection board no later than 14 days after the deadline for the submission of the application documents.
  • A formal assessment of the submitted applications.
  • In the event when required documents are missing, a call for the completion of the documentation or the provision of additional documents by the candidate.
  • The selection of candidates for the interview stage.
  • Conducting interviews with chosen candidates fulfilling the formal requirements.
  • The Committee has the right to request external reviews of the candidate’s achievements.
  • The announcement of the results by the Chairperson of the Committee and the notification given to candidates informing them about the outcome of the competition. The information will include a justification and an indication of the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates. The candidates will receive their submitted documents together with the above-mentioned information.
