Post Summary: The purpose of this specified purpose Assistant Professor post is to contribute teaching and administrative activities in the Academic Unit of Neurology, School of Medicine with specific reference to the coordination and expansion of the Masters Course in Applied Clinical Neuropsychology and Neuroscience. The postholder will consolidate and expand a teaching strand within the Academic Unit of Neurology, with the longer term objective of building a clinical/academic teaching cluster that will drive a successful teaching programme at undergraduate and graduate level to meet the needs of identified stakeholders in the target learner cohort. The postholder will have a background in Psychology and an established track record in teaching, and will be expected to contribute to postgraduate teaching in this field. The postholder will assume a leadership role in delivering the established Masters in Applied Clinical Neuropsychology and will be responsible for expansion of the programme to include Clinical Neuroscience, and the development of additional micro-credential oriented teaching modules. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The purpose of this specified purpose Assistant Professor post is to contribute teaching and administrative activities in the Academic Unit of Neurology, School of Medicine with specific reference to the coordination and expansion of the Masters Course in Applied Clinical Neuropsychology and Neuroscience. Hours of Work: Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
