Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2023, item 742, as amended) and in § 89 (1) (3) of the University’s Statute (Appendix to Resolution No. 63 – 2022/2023 of the Senate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, dated May 29, 2023, on the adoption of the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences).A person who can be employed in the position must meet the following criteria * holds at least a doctoral degree in economics/economics and finance,

  • is the author or co-author of at least four scholarly monographs or scholarly articles that have appeared in journals or publications included in the list referred to in § 87 (1) and (4) in force for the year of their publication, and in the case of the field of social sciences is the author or co-author of at least four scholarly monographs or chapters in monographs or scholarly articles (including at least two in scholarly journals) that have appeared in journals or monographs included in the list in force for the year of their publication,
  • in the last 2 calendar years, has obtained an average annual number of points for scientific articles, scientific monographs or chapters in scientific monographs at least 50% higher than the minimum average annual number of points necessary to obtain a positive evaluation of research activity for an academic teacher employed as an assistant, as specified in the rules for evaluation of academic teachers current as of the date of application,
  • has obtained a favorable opinion of the committee responsible for teaching on the teaching courses conducted, and in the case of applicants for employment and non-employees of the SGGW, has obtained a favorable opinion of the committee for a scientific paper delivered at a seminar organized in the unit where he/she applies for employment,
  • has documented at least good knowledge of English or another congressional language, to the extent that he/she can independently write scientific publications in this language and give reports at scientific conferences,
  • has directed or is directing or has submitted a research project involving scientific research or development or implementation of investments related to scientific education and activities, maintenance of scientific and research apparatus, research station (SPUB) or special information technology apparatus (SPUBi), financed in a competitive mode by foreign institutions or international organizations and by domestic institutions, or has obtained, through SGGW, funds to perform research services (KZL) on behalf of entities not belonging to the system of higher education and science with a value of at least PLN 50,000,
  • meets additional requirements, including specific research, teaching or organizational goals and tasks, as specified in the terms and conditions of the competition, with an additional advantage being, in particular, a scientific internship abroad in scientific centers or visible scientific activity of international scope.

  • statement by the Candidate that meets the requirements set out in art. 113 of the Act on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and a statement that SGGW-WULS will be the primary workplace within the meaning of the above Act*.
