Trinity College Dublin- an introduction Post Summary: We seek to appoint an Assistant Professor in Intellectual Disability Nursing. The primary purpose of this post is to contribute to Intellectual Disability Nursing teaching, research and administrative activities in the School of Nursing & Midwifery. The successful applicant will have an established reputation in teaching and research in Intellectual Disability Nursing and will be expected to contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in this field and in interdisciplinary curricular teaching, supervision and mentoring. This post provides an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to developments relevant to the discipline in relevant research areas which are of strategic focus and interest for the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin and contemporary society more broadly. The successful candidate will be expected to have a depth of knowledge pertinent to the role and will be expected to publish and disseminate widely in the area of intellectual disability and also attract national and international research funding. Post status: 5 Year Fixed-Term, Tenure Track Hours of Post: Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
