Trinity College Dublin- an introduction Post Summary The School of Psychology seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor in Psychology. Applications are sought from candidates who have experience of teaching in psychology at undergraduate level. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver teaching on the undergraduate programme in Psychology and to contribute teaching to other postgraduate programmes in the School, to provide supervision to both undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, and to contribute to the international profile of research in psychology in the School of Psychology. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract This is a specific purpose contract. The specific purpose of this employment is to fill an Assistant Professor vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from maternity leave. Salary: Appointment will be made on Assistant Professor Salary Scale (109) commensurate with qualifications / experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy (€42,500 – € 101,541 per annum) https://www.tcd.ie/hr/assets/pdf/monthly-academic.pdf Hours of Work: Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
