- Conducting research activities in the field of geotechnics, including obtaining external funds for research projects;
- Preparing and conducting didactic classes related to geotechnics, mainly in the field of foundations and earth and underground construction, in Polish and English (within the framework of the Erasmus program);
- Dissemination of research results in the form of scientific publications in journals indexed in the SCOPUS or Web of Science database;
- Participation in scientific conferences/symposia (domestic and foreign);
- Participation in workshops and trainings to improve professional competence;
- Participation in organizational work for the benefit of the unit and the university;
- Other tasks assigned by the head of the unit, resulting from the profile and nature of the unit and the university.
Candidate requirements:
- has at least a doctoral degree in the field of engineering sciences in the discipline of civil engineering, geodesy and transportation or in the field of technical sciences in the discipline of construction or in related sciences;
- has teaching experience at the academic level in the field of geotechnics;
- has research experience in the field of geotechnics;
- has scientific achievements published in scientific journals indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science database;
- demonstrates willingness to work on full-time and part-time studies;
- Experience related to cooperation with industry is welcome;
- speaks and writes Polish;
- speaks English at a level of at least B2;
- additionally, the candidate must meet the legal requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, including:
- Full public rights
- Full legal capacity
- No prior conviction by a final court judgment for an intentional criminal offense or intentional tax offense
- No disciplinary penalty of dismissal from university employment, with a ban on working at universities for a period of 6 months to 5 years, or loss of the right to practice as an academic teacher for 10 years.
