Offer DescriptionCompetition for the Assistant professor in the research and teaching staff group at the Faculty of Chemistry in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry (Full-Time). The employee’s responsibilities will include conducting teaching activities in the fields of general and inorganic chemistry, carrying out scientific research, and securing funding for research projects.TASKS/ROLE

  • scientific research in the field of inorganic and medical chemistry as well as NMR spectroscopy and publishing the results
  • raising funds for research projects
  • teaching in the field of general and inorganic chemistry in Polish language knowledge of Polish is necessary
  • taking care for engineering diploma theses

  • Ph.D. degree or getting this degree before the planned employment date
  • authorship of publications in JCR journals
  • practical experience in the field of medcal and inorganic chemistry
  • experience in operating a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer
  • experience in academic teaching
  • willingness to take part in a professional training abroad
  • experience in writing and/or managing grant applications
  • good command of Polish and English language, spoken and written (min. B2)
