Job description
Offer DescriptionThe main scientific goal of the project is the spectroscopic study of proteins in model and biological systems modified under the influence of various physicochemical conditions, as well as the study of the interaction of CPL probes with various protein systems. In the first stage of the project, it is planned to analyze model protein-based systems using various spectroscopic methods, including Raman spectroscopy (RS), Raman optical activity (ROA) and electronic circular dichroism (ECD). The second step will be investigation of the interaction of the CPL and RROA probes with model protein systems. The third task will be focused on the study of natural biological systems, primarily blood plasma from various disease models of mice and the study of the potential, spectroscopic differentiation of biological samples obtained from various mouse disease models using CPL/RROA probes.RequirementsResearch Field Chemistry » Biochemistry Education Level PhD or equivalentResearch Field Chemistry » Molecular chemistry Education Level PhD or equivalentResearch Field Medical sciences » Other Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/Qualifications1) holding a PhD degree in the field of chemistry, physics, biology or related;2) exhibiting an aptitude for research work3) laboratory work experience in the fields of physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, or biological chemistry4) experience in working with biomacromolecular systems, especially proteins5) experience and knowledge in the field of absorption and vibrational spectroscopy will be an additional advantage;6) active participation in science reflected in particular in participation in foreign and domestic conferences;7) scientific achievements in the form of publications, trainings, and participation in research projects;8) experience in laboratory work, particularly in the field of analytical methods;9) fluent English spoken and written;10) experience and passion for scientific work.Specific RequirementsThe tasks of an employed person will include the implementation of research tasks related to:
