The School of Natural Sciences are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor within the discipline of Zoology with an excellent research record in Animal Behaviour. As a fundamental aspect of Zoology teaching and research we aim to build on a track record of excellence in this field. Candidates with successful research achievements and potential in field and/or laboratory based animal behaviour are invited to apply. Areas of expertise may include studies of predator / prey systems, foraging behaviour, sexual selection, movement ecology, breeding biology, sensory perception, animal welfare, or any other branch of animal behavioural analysis. Post Status Tenure Track – This position is Tenure Track position which is 5-years in the first instance, permanency is subject to satisfying the tenure requirements.
