Why Choose This Role?As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of site-based project and assist and support the control and delivery of our construction projects in Exeter/Ivybridge. You will assist and promote the importance of customer relations to the site-based team and ensure that health, safety, and environmental performance standards are achieved. When required the ASM deputies for the Site Manager.What you will do:

  • Support Site Management in driving efficient, on-budget construction in line with our programme.
  • Coordinate materials, plant, and labour to meet construction and finishing requirements.
  • Supervise site teams and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with NHBC standards and our exacting specifications.
  • Prioritise safety with regular inspections and vigilance over site health and safety standards.
  • Assist in preparing properties for customer handover and communal areas for management company use.

Your AttributesYou will bring:

  • Experience & Knowledge: A background in trades, supervisory roles, or site management.
  • CSCS Card: Required at an appropriate level.
  • Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
  • Problem-Solver: Initiative and sound decision-making in day-to-day site operations.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have:

  • A valid UK Driving License
  • The ability to learn policies and procedures quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Skilled in fostering positive teamwork and contributing to shared goals.
