What you’ll do

-have a key role with holistic impact on SAP’s financials supporting to manage 79 Countries /205 Locations /395 Buildings /1.703.000 SQM?
-see the results of your work in external communications like SAP’s annual report or the Capital Markets Day?
-have first-hand information and insights on changes in the ways of working (e.g., pledge to flex)?
-know what IFRS16 really is about and how reinstatement obligations are treated?
-be part of a strong team supporting each other?

In your position as a Facility Associate Controller, you will be supporting mainly the business units in Europe gaining experience in Facility topics and interacting with senior leaders.

Business Unit Controlling:

-Drive financial planning activities
-Perform month end closing activities like accrual handling, cost accounting checks, cost allocations, etc.
-Derive key messages from in-depth analysis and recommend action items to the management
-Ensure transparency and compliance with financial guidelines
 

What you bring

-Graduate (Bachelor/Master or similar) of Business Administration with focus on Finance & Controlling
-Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
-Innovative thinking, an affinity to challenging complexity and an agile approach to change
-Ability to cope with tight deadlines
-Self-managed working style with high orientation on customer success
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint)
-Sound knowledge of SAP Controlling processes as well as SAP CO (ISP / BW)
-Fluent in English (written & verbal)
-First practical experience through internships and / or student employments in the Controlling area is a plus.
 

About the team

As part of the
Business Area Controlling (BAC), the Facility Controlling team
is a cross-generational team consisting of eight employees located in Europe, Asia & US, currently working mainly in a virtual collaboration.

The position can be filled as part time position.
