From formal training, informal coaching and mentoring through to skills-based and technical training and on the job learning.Job DescriptionWith our approachable, friendly, and team-based way of working, you will be included in our highly regarded team that advises on a full spectrum of financial products in the structured finance area.Our way of working is based on a high level of cooperation in an international environment with frequent contacts with other Clifford Chance offices in Europe and around the world with the aim of guaranteeing the best possible service to our clients.Our Debt Finance team is currently composed by several associates who act on many of the ground-breaking deals in Italy and have become trusted advisers to the corporations and financial institutions that define the global markets.You will be given the chance to handle a variety of work and be involved in working closely with clients and other lawyers. This means that you will develop outstanding transactional and organisational skills as well as high level technical abilities.This role presents an excellent opportunity for career progression as part of a growing team.Qualifications

• You will ideally be an Italian qualified Associate (between 2 and 4 years post qualification experience) with substantial experience in leveraged finance and private debt deals in a top tier international law firm or a primary Italian law firm.
• You are interested in the Banking sector and, for this reason, you have delved into the subject during your professional experience.
• You will be a self-starter with a strong academic background, a team player with strong communication, analytical and drafting skills and a high level of commercial awareness, able to contribute to deals while managing different work-streams.
• You will have good English language skills and be able to work comfortably in English, both in drafting legal documents and advice and in communicating with clients and counterparties.
