Associate Director Biostatistics

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead Statistician to shape the statistical strategy for Phase 1 and Phase 2a studies, influencing decision-making from first-in-human trials through proof-of-concept.The Opportunity:
In this high-impact leadership role, you will:Lead statistical strategy for one or more early development projects/indicationsProvide scientific and statistical leadership across clinical plans, study designs, analyses, and regulatory interactionsMentor junior statisticians, fostering collaboration, innovation, and operational excellencePartner closely with cross-functional teams (ClinOps, Translational Medicine, Regulatory) and represent statistics in regulatory meetingsContribute to statistical standards, process improvements, and adoption of innovative methodologies (e.g., Bayesian designs, Quantitative Decision-Making)What You Bring:PhD or MSc in Statistics/Biostatistics (or related discipline) with 6+ years’ pharmaceutical industry experience (pharma experience strongly preferred over CRO-only background)Proven leadership in early clinical development, ideally in Phase 1-2a trialsExperience with regulatory interactions, submissions, and external scientific representationAdvanced statistical expertise, with exposure to innovative trial designsExceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skillsWhy Join Us?
