Who are we looking for?
We are looking to hire an Entry-Level End User Workplace Engineer that will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the end user computing environment to ensure optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction. This includes tasks such as installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software, providing technical support to end users, and managing user accounts and access controls.What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
- Basic understanding or coursework in end user computing, desktop support, or workplace engineering.
- Familiarity with Windows and iOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools through academic projects or internships.
- Willingness to learn hardware troubleshooting, software deployment, and IT asset management.
- Awareness of security best practices for endpoints and user environments, preferably gained through studies or training.
What is your role and your responsibilities?Install, configure, and support end user hardware and software using Microsoft Intune, including laptops, desktops, operating systems, and workplace applications * Provide deskside and remote technical support, troubleshooting and resolving incidents and service requests efficiently
- Manage the full lifecycle of EUC incidents and requests, ensuring prompt communication and resolution for users
- Perform hardware upgrades, deployments, and moves (IMAC), including asset management of devices and peripherals
- Implement and support endpoint management tools (Defender, Intune, Entra ID) and ensure security compliance (patching, hardening, threat protection)
- Collaborate with workplace technology teams to deliver and support digital signage, meeting room AV, and smart office solutions
- Document procedures, configurations, and solutions for knowledge sharing and compliance
- Proactively identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, and innovation in the workplace environment
- Support remote and hybrid working solutions, ensuring secure and reliable access for users from any location
- Managing licensing, domain registrars, policy, application and user administration
