The University now seeks two Associate Heads of College (External Relations) – one within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and one within Westminster Business School. 

A key member of the college Executive Group, the postholder will be required to bring strong and visionary academic leadership and strategic direction for the College, supporting and undertaking responsibilities for the PVC Head of College and working closely with the DVC for Employability and Global Engagement to lead and enhance the quality of, its international, employability, corporate social responsibility and public and community engagement plans and achievements, both within the College and across other Colleges.

A reputable and inspiring leader, the new Associate Heads of College will be focused on strategic planning, proactive development and oversight of operational management of the College’s portfolio of activities. This will include driving innovation across all the College’s external relations plans, and lead in the opening of new employability opportunities and international partnerships.

A skilled communicator, with exceptional people and management skills, they will bring a track record of successful international development and partnerships, growing external professional engagement and setting up collaborations with a range of employers and demonstrable success improving TEF, KEF, REF, NSS and other measures of quality and success for the University. Prospective candidates should demonstrate the ability to think and act strategically; engage and motivate staff; and will possess a high level of analytical and administrative ability. Critically, they will evidence a passion for the College and align with the values and mission of the institution.
