The University of Reading School of Law wishes to appoint an outstanding Associate Professor in Commercial Law to further enhance our academic faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic community with a global outlook and a focus on academic excellence (in the latest Research Excellence Framework we doubled our percentage of 4* outputs and 99% of our research was judged to be world leading, internationally excellent or internationally recognised). We are seeking to appoint a candidate of internationally recognised research excellence who can provide research leadership and also contribute to teaching, administration and global engagement.The School welcomes applicants with an outstanding record of research in any area of Commercial Law. All relevant research sub-specialisms will be considered. - To contribute to the ambitious research agenda of the School of Law, particularly through world class research and impact in Commercial Law;
- To secure research funding as appropriate;
- To contribute to leadership and mentoring in the School of Law;
- To contribute to the global engagement agenda of the School of Law;
- To provide excellent teaching of UG and/or PG students;
- To provide excellent supervision of PGR students.
