Brockenhurst College has a new opportunity available for an Attendance Advisor to join their team. You will join us on a part-time fixed term basis through to Friday 5 July with a salary of £21,411 – £22,429 Pro Rata DOE.

About the Role
As our Attendance Advisor, you will provide efficient and effective customer service and clerical support in processing student absence communications and liaising with parents and carers.
Responsibilities as our Attendance Advisor will include:
- Monitoring and processing student absence through phone calls and emails in a friendly and professional manner.
- Providing high quality customer service to assist students, staff and visitors, whether by telephone, email or in person.
- Communicating with other departments to ensure the safety of visitors and the high maintenance of the College and its grounds.
- Assisting fellow members of the Student Services Admin Team as and when necessary
- Attend and participate at training events and staff meetings, as required.
- Any other such duties, commensurate with the grade of post, which may be reasonably allocated.
What we are looking for in our Attendance Advisor:
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- A minimum of one year’s experience in an office environment, interacting with the general public.
- Competent computer skills – able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet for information retrieval.
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise appropriately.
- The ability to build a rapport with customers of all kinds.
- Eagerness to ensure students and visitors are received in a professional manner and are provided with up-to-date information and/or signposted to the correct departments.
