Our business is Talent Management: to attract, to keep, coach, train and motivate IT-Talent, thanks to a broad view on IT and the business.For our client in Mechelen we are looking for an Automation Tester.Tasks and responsibilities of this role:Test Automation Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA.
• Integrate TOSCA test scripts with the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing. (Azure DevOps)
• Create reusable and modular test components to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Test Planning and Execution:

• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure quality.
• Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and new features.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand testing requirements and provide feedback on application functionality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Report test results, track defects, and provide regular updates on testing activities to stakeholders.

Tool and Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and TOSCA.

You must have sufficient skills to fulfill these responsibilities. The following skills are critical:Hard skills:

• Proficient in using TOSCA for test automation, including creating and managing test cases, test data, and test execution.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, VBScript) is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in TOSCA
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
