Job description

MISSION:Playing a buyer role to lead procurement processes regarding construction phase of renewable projects: civil and electrical works (BOP/BOS/BESS), Frame Agreements, Engineering Services and other CAPEX services and supplies.To participate in all stages of the project -from the needs identification until entering contracts- being involved in multidisciplinary teams to reach the best achieves for each project according to the target goals of the company.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:Lead whole RFP (Request For Proposal) processes, including: preparation of commercial specifications, centralizing the communication with stakeholders, leading negotiations, performing commercial assessments, awarding and reporting.

  • Lead Contract & Commercial Negotiations, driving appropriate commercial relationships with suppliers and ensuring a competitive process according to company procedures.
  • Business goals oriented, supported by a culture of continuous improvement with cost & performance benchmarks in use, and providing an appropriate reporting.
  • Monitoring market tendences to identify risks & opportunities.
  • Strong cooperation with other departments (Engineering, Construction, EHS, etc.) to achieve the best results aligned with the company strategy.

Required academic skills and knowledge:

  • ACADEMIC LEVEL

Engineering Degree (Industrial, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc).Economics Degree

  • REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years of procurement processes leading, preferably in renewable industry, including negotiation and offers analysis.And/Or strong experience in construction & engineering of Wind/Solar projects (utility scale)

  • SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ability to manage databases is valued.
  • Familiar with contractual negotiation and preparation processes.
  • General knowledge of Supply Chain concepts.
  • LANGUAGES
  • English High Level (Oral and Writing).
  • Spanish High Level (Oral and Writing).
  • Additional languages will be valued.
  • SKILLS / COMPETENCES
  • Ability to work in different locations: some travelling required.
  • Negotiation skills, experience.
  • General analytical and critical thinking.
  • Proactivity and ability to anticipate future needs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
