Job description
Our client is an industry-leading financial services company, and they currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in Limerick. This is a fixed term contract until the end of the year with the possibility of extension.Hybrid working is in place – 3 days in the office and 2 from home.Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of complex, global change projects adhering to regulatory, compliance & risk requirements.
- Execute additional contractual arrangements with specified providers and support negotiations and oversight where necessary.
- Establish new membership/participant arrangement if required.
- Support operations engagement with all providers with regards to the establishment of new securities/cash accounts, transition of assets.
- Complete all regulatory and oversight reporting with all providers.
- Manage regulatory KYC compliance process.
- Maintain & distribute effective project reporting tools & controls.
Requirements:
- Good comprehension of the Asset Servicing industry and the role of a Global custodian or back-office settlement services.
- Extensive business analysis experience in financial organisations, preferably in capital markets, investment firms or financial services.
- Hands-on approach to program delivery with the ability to understand and resolve issues.
- Knowledge of custody-specific services is preferable – settlements, entitlements, Nostro & treasury transactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience of managing calls/driving meetings to achieve planned objectives.
