We are Project controllers and Project Planners and our expertise is close cooperation with Project Managers to ensure successful project implementation. In this position, you will be reporting to the Section Manager.We ensure successful execution and implementation of Rockwool investments and Project Portfolio and we are a part of the PMO & KAM team. Our business processes are structured and driven by project excellence in combination with technology development and market requirements. We are to understand and find solutions for driving our important investment projects to obtain the desired outcome and value.Group Operating Technology counts 500+ senior specialists and project managers, delivering various Capex and Development projects to our factories globally. Group Operating Technology supports the organisation with capacity growth, environmental improvements, automation, safety, documentation and other services from a technological point of view.What you will be doingYour job as Business Analyst will be focusing on analysis, synergies, reporting, improving process etc for Capex and Development investments and contributing implementation of a new tool PPM tool, Planisware. A great deal of your success requires your ability to work in close cooperation with responsible Line Managers, Project Managers as well as the group finance department, Business Intelligence and IT and of course your dedicated team colleagues in PMO & KAM and Project Controlling & Planning.Your responsibilities will be:
- Ensure a smooth implementation of Planisware, together with the rest of the team
- Conducting analyses of variances and calculate financial impacts
- Resource analysis and supporting Line Managers with upcoming bottlenecks and conflicts
- Challenging the projects and managers, ensuring that processes and cost structures are of good quality
- Looking for efficiency and improvements for the organisation
- Handling ad-hoc analyses and tasks
- Aligning processes, reporting and systems
You can expect up to 20 days of annual travel, primarily within Europe.What you provideTo succeed in this position you are ambitious! You are confident in presenting your ideas and making it your business and goal to adhere to our existing workflows and standards.Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Already have a few years of work experience as a Business Analyst, Controller, Project Controller or in a similar position
- Are educated as a Master’s or a similar education within business administration of Finance/Economics
- Work very structured and automatically take responsibility for a task and finalize it as per the agreed plan with your stakeholders.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Are ambitious and thrive in a determined team.
- Have a positive, energetic attitude and are easy going.
