These are a mixture of Credit, Prepaid and Virtual Cards.The Cards team supports and delivers for client hosted platforms in EMEA. The production support part of the team works on functional issues for our platforms and provides the resolution or works with other stakeholders to provide the resolution of the issues within SLAs.The role of Cards Business System Analysis is to act as the intake funnel for new requirements for change and enhancement to the processing platform and to products and services offered by Cards to its clients.In addition, the team offers consultative and educational support to internal partners and our clients and supports the delivery teams in the end-to-end delivery of new client onboarding programs.The team comprises of Business System Specialists, Business Analysts, Project Managers and System administrators who work with various internal partners and our external vendors and clients to shape the future of the products and services offered as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory directives and card network mandates.What you will be doingIn this role you will be conducting research, analysing, and documenting requirements, and working with vendors and clients to deliver world class payment solutions in line with industry standards and emerging technology.Day-to-day responsibilities in the role:Analysis of business and client needs documentation of requirements and translation into system requirement specifications.Assesses, applies and projects the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders.Triage the production issuesWork with the stakeholders to get the issue resolved within the defined SLA for the client; pick up issues and work on them till resolution and closure.Conducting internal meetings with the stakeholders on the status of the issues.Conducting meetings with the clients to provide the status of the issues on a weekly basis.Work with the Service Desk team on client communication for specific cases.Work with the internal stakeholders (dev team, QA team, BA product team) on resolution of issues, when need beWrites test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.Knowledge and skills you can expect to develop include:Knowledge of financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles.Core Business Analysis skillsResourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideasAbility to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completedAbility to persuade and influence others on the best approach to takeExcellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skillsShares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resourcesWho we are looking forA bachelor’s degreeA confident communicator with strong interpersonal skillsHighly organised, with attention to detail and an ability to multi-taskPro-active – willing to ask questions and put forward ideasAbility to build a network and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of stakeholdersProven teamwork skills combined with the desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteA keen interest in financial technology – including payments technology and products, with a passion for building further knowledge in this area!What We Offer YouA competitive salary and excellent benefits: Medical and Health, Well-Being, Lifestyle, and many more!Structured onboarding program with networking opportunitiesPerformance and merit reviews during your first two years on the programAccess to a virtual learning platform to support your professional developmentParticipate in monthly workshops focused on Professional Skills and Competencies, FIS Business Knowledge, Technical Skills, Career Development, and the Future of FintechVaried and challenging work to help you develop your business acumenOpportunity to build your knowledge of the broader commercial payments industryA supportive work environment built on collaboration, flexibility, and respectA fun, inclusive culture – we love having fun together as a team and do lots of things both virtually as well as in person!#FISUSEPTEMBER2025UK#LI-LT1Privacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
