Danfoss Climate Solutions is currently seeking a Business Developer Distributor for the EU, a key role involves the implementation of the strategies and drive the local sales account in the business development of distributors in the European region. This role entails defining specific strategies for each country in Central / South Europe and identifying new partners.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while collaborating with the product line manager, possessing strong analytical and negotiation skills. The candidate will be responsible to look for business opportunities related to the product line associated with heat exchangers.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Develop distribution in line with corporate strategy, identifying new distributor partners and assessing their potential business contribution.

  • Define and monitor distribution development strategy, priorities, and sales targets per country in collaboration with local sales teams.

  • Drive scouting of potential new distributor partners, assess their suitability, and conduct negotiations for entry into the distribution network together with local Sales Account.

  • Collect and analyze distribution channel needs and guide the development of internal solutions to meet these needs.

  • Implement programs with distributor partners to stimulate business growth and mutual value creation.

  • Foster a culture of effective channel management within the organization through training and coaching initiatives.

Background & Skills

  • Academic background in Business Engineering/Economics or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 6 years of previous experience in moderately structured multinational environments, in roles involving distributor partner management in companies with structured partnership programs.

  • Previous experience in sales of technically advanced products.

  • Previous experience in complex negotiations, understanding of distribution contracts, and price management.

  • Good knowledge of Salesforce.

  • Business development skills with a strong growth mindset.

  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
