The Role:

 

The purpose of the job is to provide analytical and opportunity mapping support to the creation and delivery of thematic & geographic business development strategies (aligned to OGB’s and countries’ strategic focus). The BD coordinator will be able to work seamlessly within the architecture of the Oxfam confederation and its affiliates worldwide, supporting the positioning OGB as the partner of choice for resource mobilisation and new business development.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for a wide range of audiences
  • Proactive approach, ability to influence others and use initiative to achieve goals
  • Excellent time management skills, demonstrable ability to prioritise, respond quickly and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Critical information gathering, knowledge management and research skills
  • Organisational awareness and knowledge of Oxfam’s programme work (or a similar organisational context)
  • General Knowledge of International Funding Institutions donor landscape.
  • Ability to analyse, consolidate and create data boards to inform for decision making.
