The objective is to optimize the end-user’s equipment fleet, site production, financial structures, safety, sustainability, and operational activities. This role manages the commercial strategy and the business risks associated with signing Job Site Solutions contracts. The incumbent must be able to effectively influence end-users, dealers, suppliers, and internal Caterpillar decision-makers. The incumbent has direct business development responsibilities for growing volume and the number of sites served by Job Site Solutions contracts.The Resource Industries Sales, Services & Technology team is looking for a Solutions Commercial Manager primarily for the mining and quarry industries, and Industrial and Waste. This position is located in Solihull, UK. As a Commercial Manager at Caterpillar, you will be directly responsible for working with customers, Cat Dealers, and internal Caterpillar business partners to develop solutions that solve customer problems related to their mining and quarry mobile equipment fleets. The primary goal is to gain customer acceptance via signed contracts adding to individual and team Total Contract Value (TCV) goals. This position directly supports Caterpillar’s services strategy among many other corporate growth initiatives.What you will do:The key role of this individual contributor position is to gain with our dealer partners contributing to incremental Machine, Parts, and Services Sales for the greater Caterpillar enterprise and Dealer Network.
