As part of an industry leader within this market, our aim is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to procure parts, consumables or lubricants for compressors and industrial utility rooms. Our customers are all small to medium-sized companies, located in over 60 countries.To further support our growth, we are currently looking for a Business Development Officer.Responsibilities:As a Business Development Officer, your responsibilities are:Search for growth opportunities in your region by, i.e., increasing market share:Expanding the product portfolio of existing customersAcquiring new customersConverting leads into long-term cooperationSupport our customer centers in the further development of competitor serviceGrow the Edmac ratio (=ratio of equivalent parts vs OEM parts) in your regionsStructure and develop the best-in-class customer experienceCreate business plans for your regionCold callingKeeping the CRM up to date (MoM, calls)Creating quotes (acquisitions, specific regions, etc.)In absence of colleagues, you support in the back-up of quotesRequirements:We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven, no-nonsense professional with ideally a background in internal sales and/or business development:Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar functionExcellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with ERP systems is an advantageKnowledge of English is necessaryAre we a good fit?This is a hybrid sales role where both “hunting” and “consultative selling” as well as a good ability to explain the product is a decisive factor.In addition to a passion for sales, you also possess analytical and creative skills that allow you to help customers effectively and continuously.Present and demonstrate the value of the product to potential customersCompile and analyze data to identify trendsRespectfully working with the internal sales officers who support you in the regionWhat can we offer you?Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesFlexible working hours and the possibility of remote work (after 6 months)Comprehensive health, dental, and hospitalization insurancePossibility to opt for cafeteria plan (car, bike, phone, multimedia, ..)Numerous development opportunities, including trainingAn inclusive company culture that values work-life balance30 holidaysDiverse by nature and inclusive by choice
