Our Business Intelligence Analyst carry a unique position whereby they are involved in all aspects of the dashboard development process from gathering requirements, preparing data to final reporting using Data Visualization techniques or working with Front-End developers. Working as a Business Intelligence Analyst in TE means exposure to the business in working with key stakeholders in addition to diving deep into technical work, with the goal to continually add value and help to strengthen the team.What your background should look like:We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join TE Connectivity’s Industrial Solutions (IS) Segment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various departments to extract and interpret data to derive valuable insights to support multiple business units/functions, develop and implement analytics solutions and track key performance metrics to improve business performance. You will also be in charge of developing data models and dashboards. This is the ideal role for someone who loves working with numbers and data modelling and would like to gain practical experience in a business environmentKey Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to identify reporting needs, metrics and systems.
• Support the effective and efficient governance of self-service BI tools through developing and fostering standards, processes and visualization / analytics best practices
• Utilize tools such as Excel, Tableau and SQL to automate repetitive analytics tasks and to deliver insights by blending multiple data sources together
• Leverage creative solutions, analytics and visualization/reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights that deliver ROI. This could include use of variance analysis, dashboards/ reporting, sales analytics and regression
• Support the modeling and creation of datasets to be then used for self-service dashboard reports. Have knowledge of used datasets to be able to provide guidance to engineers and/or stakeholders
• Streamline data preparation and processes for maximum automation and efficiency whilst supporting environment migrations where required
• Identify gaps in current products or solutions, and participate in creating new solutions to fill these gaps

• Possess advanced knowledge of Tableau & SQL allowing for independent work
• 4+ years experience in Tableau
• 4+ years of Data Preparation using SQL
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and database software
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data analytics, computer science or equivalent related field
• Background in data analytics, business intelligence and reporting
• General knowledge and experience with ERP and Business Intelligence systems
• Ability to validate own work and work of others, results oriented, customer focused, team player, collaborative and willing to share knowledge
• Strong analytical and design skills with great written and oral communications skills (in English)
• Strong stakeholder communication skills

Good to have:

• Fundamental knowledge of Python
• Power BI
• Data Warehousing (concepts and operation)
