Someone with experience in, and passion for digital media, measurement and reporting and big data, who wants to work with some of the biggest brands in the world.The role is a blend of consultancy, operational excellence, and technical ability with a solid understanding of the practical realities of what it takes to measure the right thing.We are looking for someone who can work with people from different disciplines as and when required, to deliver best in class solutions for our clients.Someone who has solid technical skills, who can understand how KPIs and metrics should be reported on, at both global and local level, as well as what insightful stories and trends can be told from readily available data.The Ideal CandidateEssential Criteria
- Technical mindset, able to approach issues and challenges from a variety of angles.
- Highly numerate, with strong mathematical acumen.
- Advanced Excel user and experience using the Microsoft Power BI suite. Including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Dataflows, Power Query and DAX.
- Build global reporting solutions to easily translate complex data points to digestible information by using visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Datastudio.
- An eye for visual representation of data via dashboards and excel builds.
- Experience of managing Microsoft SQL Server databases, writing SQL queries, and Analysis Services.
- Strong understanding of ETL process, data modelling and experience with third party analytics platforms, e.g., Datorama or Adverity.
- Ability to perform data transformations requirements and manipulate data in various ways.
- Basic understanding of Python.
- The ability to achieve high quality results by paying attention to detail.
- The ability to work on multiple tasks/projects and meet agreed deadlines.
- A natural desire to share knowledge and teach others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Understand of the latest digital media platforms, including, but not limited to YouTube, DSP, Google Ads, or Facebook
- Understand onsite analytic tools such as, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
- Experience with managing other people
ResponsibilitiesHelp set requirements and build globally scalable digital reporting solutions. Key tasks include:
- Ensuring the data requirements are captured and continuously updated, to meet a fast pace changing environment.
- Working to understand technical requirements and translating to a meaningful way back to the team/markets/clients.
- Setup and maintenance of ETL processes and data models.
- Supporting the management and upkeep of all Analysis Services, including, but not limited to, building cubes, and maintaining existing set-ups.
- Set-up and management of data dictionary requirements.
- Development and updating of any training material providing knowledge sharing of system usage and reporting requirements.
- Manage the training of any new team members on how to use existing platforms and systems.
- Keep up to date with tools and technology available for improving reporting requirements and communicate with the wider teams.
- Provide hands-on support for all data related activities within the BI Team.
- Resolve day-to-day issues autonomously, escalating where appropriate.
- Ensure a high level of data compliance across all data sources.
