Apply today!The positionYou can expect an internship that puts the knowledge you have from university to good use, but that also gives you opportunities to learn and develop yourself professionally. One example of a project that you will help with will be our Onboarding programme for new employees. You will support the coordinator of the onboarding with planning, leading up to the onboarding days, as well as on the two days in the beginning of the month. Moreover, you will also contribute to the constant development and improvement of the programme, by coming up with new ideas and implementing them.On the other hand, you can also expect minor, more hands-on tasks that come ad-hoc. In addition to identifying, planning, carrying out, and evaluating more modest improvement efforts, you will also collect, analyse, and present data.Practicalities:

  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Internship period: 6 months (with the possibility for an extension)
  • Working hours: Full time (32-37 hours/week)

QualificationsYou are currently in your second or third year of studies and you are interested in communication, human resources, project management, and the optimization of systems and processes. You might be studying Communication, HR, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or similar. You are a self-motivated individual who aspires to be a team player.You will be successful in this role if you are:

  • Usually seeking improvements/optimizations, with “can do” attitude, and natural curiosity
  • Able to build and nurture relationships, promoting inclusivity, and valuing the input of others
  • Supportive by nature, with a service-oriented mindset, and able to keep a calm demeanour during busy and fast-paced periods
  • A strong communicator with fluency in English

Your enthusiasm and drive enable you to get support for your solutions and ideas. Willingness to take initiative and ability to set direction allow you to work independently. At the same time, you enjoy supporting and helping others, and you value personal relationships.About the departmentBusiness Support is a department within DMD, consisting of 20 highly skilled professionals striving to support and meet complex organizational needs. We drive cross-functional agendas within Strategy deployment, Finance, Lean, Innovation, Training, Talent Attraction, EHS, and Project & Portfolio Management. We are a lively and diverse team, with experts from various educational backgrounds and different levels of experience. At work, although ambitions are high, we try to keep a light and informal tone.You will be a fully-fledged member of the team from day one, and we will train and onboard you with great care.
