This team specialises in the area of management incentivisation/business succession and as part of this work conducts share valuations, primarily for tax purposes. Reporting to the Valuations Director, this is a unique opportunity for someone with Corporate Finance and/or Valuations experience to join a collaborative team in a rewarding and diverse role.We advise SMEs, large corporations and high net worth individuals on incentivisation plans domestically and internationally to reward and retain staff within the business. In addition, we assist owners that wish to transfer businesses to the next generation. Our clients are in different life cycles of their business from start ups to more established businesses and would be from a broad range of sectors including tech/digital, pharmaceutical, retail, asset management, banking, aviation, construction and real estate. We provide advice on many different aspects of incentivisation/succession by providing innovative solutions to suit their business/personal circumstances. We work as a team utilising our wide range of experience, contacts and the PwC Network to provide a solution for all our client’s business needs within this area.What we do:Our management incentivisation/valuation team advises a number of clients in the area of incentivisation/succession which includes the following:Management/staff incentivisation for private businesses including design and implementation of schemes to retain and motivate staff to grow the businessShare valuations for employee and management share plansShare valuations for business owners wishing to pass on wealth to the next generationTax advice on the efficient structuring of equity plans and share transfersDeal support for management and the company on exits/rolloversDue diligence on M&A transactionsUnwinding incentive plans pre IPO/resetting equity plans for changes in strategyDeferred consideration aspects of dealsPre and post sale structuring for managementThe incentivisation team works closely with other teams in the PWC Network on international aspects of the above.What does this role offer:You will gain comprehensive experience across a range of valuation and tax projects including; design and implementation of management incentive plans for corporate clients, advising on the implications of M&A transactions for management teams, and share valuations for incentive plans and business owners.As a Business Valuations & Tax Senior Manager/ Manager (PCS), you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients develop, advise and implement incentivisation and succession plans.This is a growing team which offers significant opportunities to expand and develop your role within PwC.About you – Key Competencies & Experience:At least 6 years experience in a role with valuations and/or tax/incentivisation experience. It is not essential to have experience in both areas.Strong academic record with a Degree in accounting, economics, finance, or law and/or a professional qualification in Tax or accounting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research and analytical skills.Technology – strong numerical and spreadsheet skills.Business Acumen – use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market and utilise this information to assist your clients in making smart and innovative business decisions in the incentivisation area.Enthusiastic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.Ambitious – demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.Unlock your potential with PwC IrelandWe believe that challenges are better solved together.
